Ingroup Licensing -- the agent for fashion lines, Mudd Jeans and ElJay -- today announced the newest addition to its client roster, mac & jac. Ingroup Chairman and CEO, Steven Seidman made the announcement.

mac & jac creates modern wearable clothes for women and men. The fashion forward yet classic combination results in clothes that fit and flatter, while providing them with a myriad of looks for day, weekend and holiday. Clothes are designed for women who want to feel pretty and modern while the men's wear is fashion forward and masculine.

InGroup, the exclusive worldwide agent will be licensing denim, accessories, footwear, swim, intimates, outerwear, cosmetics and fragrances. Senior account executive Lauren Redish, who heads Ingroup's better fashion clients, will be managing the account.

According to Eric Karls, mac & jac's president, "Our line is already a household name in Canada, and we have great placement in the US with our better department stores and boutiques. We are ready to expand our offerings and InGroup has proven great success in global fashion branding and licensing."

Privately held, mac & jac is based in Vancouver, Canada with distribution to specialty stores, boutiques and department stores throughout North America. There are freestanding stores throughout Asia with an expected 55 by the year's end. The first North American store opened in 2003; an additional three to five are expected to open within the year.
